BACKGROUND

ORGANISATION FOR NON-FORMAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION is a non-governmental organization approach to meet the global campaign for Education for All. The organization is involved in provision of non-formal education to those who are not in school, the hard to reach, the less priviledge and children in especially difficult situations. Our foundation interest on the girl child became obvious and crucial due to high rate of drop out of girls, street hawkers, housemaids, girls in petty trade and children in Quranic school in Lagos state, Nigeria, West Africa. The organization took off in January 2000.

VISION

Adult and NON-Formal Education operation will create opportunity for those who are not in school-enabling NIGERIA to achieve Education For All (EFA)/Millennium Development Goals(MDG) by 2015 and beyond.

Introducing Our Founding President
Organization For Non-formal Education Foundation (ONEF) CSO is pleased to introduce Risikat Omolara as Board Chairman effective 1st September 2022. Risikat is an experienced CEO level administrator with a demonstrated history of sound project management and leadership skills, She served as a mentor to many up-coming NGO/CSO/FBO/PVO. She was a Monitor for Voluntary Enrolment Lagos State Project Zero phase 2. She was a Board Member of KO Bakinson Foundation, IHSAN International and several others. Under her leadership, we look forward to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, with emphasis on SDG's 16-strong institutions for Women.
